BLOOM Grant Program Now Open Across York County

York, PA – (July 20, 2026) –The BLOOM Business Empowerment Center is pleased to announce the 2026 York County BLOOM Grant Program is accepting applications starting today, Monday, July 20 through Friday, August 14. Application and details available here.

This program will award grants up to $1,500 to established small businesses operating and generating revenue in the County of York, PA for a project that will enhance productivity & operations, expand product or service offerings, or otherwise grow to the next level. Since its foundation, the BLOOM Grant Program has awarded nearly $700,000 to over 300 York County small businesses.

Last year, 2025 BLOOM Grant recipient, Mychal Kiner, owner of Travellers Coffee Company in Glen Rock utilized her award to purchase a transport and storage trailer in order to help with equipment transportation and storage in between events. “Because of the grant,” share shared, “I was able to book more events including multiple simultaneous events while maintaining a commitment to excellent quality and service, doubling my revenue from 2024.”

A highlight of this program is the live pitch presentation, where finalists present their business and project proposal to a panel of community stakeholders to determine funding awards.

Key Dates for 2026 York County BLOOM Grant

  • Program Application Opens – Monday, July 20 at 8:00 AM
  • Virtual Information Session –  Wednesday, July 29 at 5:30 PM
  • Application Closes –  Friday, August 14 at 5:00 PM
  • Pitch Presentations –  Monday, September 14 between 4:00-7:00pm

Sully Pinos, Executive Director of the BLOOM Business Empowerment Center shared, “If you’re a business owner in York with an idea to bring your operations, products, or services to new heights, this program may be able to help! Not only do awardees receive funding resources, but they’ll be introduced to BLOOM’s resource network and expand their connections in York County’s vast entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
